#940.5 - Wattrel live and make their nests along coastal cliffs, where they take advantage of the ocean as a source of wind and food. They fly in a specific way so that their wings catch the wind and their bones within produce electricity. Then, when they spot fish Pokémon from the air, they will dive into the ocean to electrocute their prey. Their cliffside nests are known for their strange, crackling texture, which has made them a popular delicacy. As Wattrel grow, they begin to develop an elastic throat sack that can store the electricity generated by their wings; they can then inflate this sac to amplify their electric attacks. Despite their frequent ocean-diving, their feathers have very little oil, making them ill-suited for extended swimming.
Named: Wattrel - ? - Kilowattrel

#158.5 - Totodile are known for having some of the strongest jaws in the Pokemon world, capable of crushing anything. As they age, their new teeth grow in forked backwards like barbed fishhooks, giving them a powerful grip in addition to a strong bite. A maturing Totodile that walks around with its mouth closed is considered to be well disciplined. These Pokemon are strong swimmers from birth, and present a severe threat to unwary Trainers who wander into their territory.
#159.5 - As Croconaw grow older, they prefer to spend more time in the water rather than on land, where their growing bulk does not slow them down. However, as their hind legs grow stronger, they often practice dashing on land - a technique they will use to take foes down with surprising speed. Maturing Croconaw can easily intimidate foes by opening their huge mouth; those who do not heed their warning will be bitten with massive and powerful jaws, and torn up savagely with a shake of their head.
Named: Totodile - Caimaul - Croconaw - Predagatr - Feraligatr
#160 Mega - When paired with Feraligatrite and a Trainer it deeply trusts, a Feraligatr can Mega Evolve into the fearsome Water/Dragon-type Mega Feraligatr. The surge of Mega Evolution causes its dorsal fin to expand into a hood-like crest resembling a Totodile’s head, while new spines emerge across its body. By clasping its forearms together beneath this crest, Mega Feraligatr forms a massive secondary set of jaws capable of exerting a bite force ten times greater than its own. The hood also shields its head from powerful blows and dissipates the tremendous heat generated by Mega Evolution. Though its body has become even more imposing, Mega Feraligatr retains the explosive speed of its base form, lunging at prey in an instant before crushing them in its colossal false jaws. Researchers theorize that the purpose of the Totodile-like crest is to restore the optimized biting power it had as its pre-evolution.
(Caimaul [kay·maal] combines “caiman,” a semi-aquatic reptiled related to alligators and crocodiles, and “maul”, while Predagatr [preh·duh·gay·tr] combines “predator” and a corruption of “gator.”)
