The Tall Collections

We are working diligently to launch our re-designed website as well as offer our two maxi dresses for pre-sale.  We are collecting as many email addresses as possible through our current site www.tallcollections.com so that we can notify tall women interested in purhasing our new maxi dresses.  The beauty of these dresses is that they are long enough for a women 6′3″ to wear and the majority of tall women can even wear heels and they are STILL long enough.  I know, right...So, we need your help.  Please share our site with as many tall women that you know.  We have something special in store for those who support us by sharing with their network.  We dare you to share.  

The new brand includes both a fresh new name and customer experience.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri, March 4, 2015 – Today, Bellezze Alte announced plans to rebrand the company’s clothing and footwear tailored to tall women as Elevate.  The clothing company tailored to tall women’s fashion will debut the new brand with the tagline “Elevating the confidence of tall women through fashion.”  Their exciting new clothing line will premiere in 2015 as the Madeline Lubrano Collection.  The roll out of the name change will begin April 2015 with a fresh new name and experience.

The brand initiative beginning in April will offer a fresh and modern brand logo, a refreshing new customer service-focused experience, a redesigned website and new stylish inventory.  This will be the company's first comprehensive branding and marketing effort since inception.

Tricia Barbarick-Steffes, Founder & CEO of Bellezze Alte, turns to alternative funding sources for her clothing line, the Madeline Lubrano Collection, tailored to tall women.  With just 31 days to fund, the process is testing both the online fundraising model and her nerves.

  Kansas City, MO (WEB) November 20, 2014 – Founder Tricia Barbarick-Steffes is turning to the Internet to raise funds for her clothing line, the Madeline Lubrano Collection, a label tailored to tall women.  This specific project will enable her to bring two designs of maxi dresses out of production.  With funding as the first major obstacle to any new venture, manufacturing costs for a clothing line doesn’t make the job any easier. 

  Tricia chose Plum Alley, a crowdfunding platform out of New York that supports women entrepreneurs.  In line with other crowdfunding sites, entrepreneurs have a set number of days to raise all of the funds, or the project receives nothing.  Steffes’s clothing line has a 31 day fundraising window, from start to finish.  If the allotted budget ($20,000 US) isn’t raised before December 22, all pledges are cancelled and the production of both maxi dresses will be stalled. 

  When asked about why Plum Alley was appealing, Steffes noted, "The ability to spread the word quickly online to a lot of people, and keep them updated on the status of the project is invaluable." An added advantage is Plum Alley’s support for female entrepreneurs.  Beyond their funding platform, Plum Alley offers a strong network of influential people that offer additional resources for the success of projects and the growth of the business.   

  The Madeline Lubrano Collection, tailors to the needs of tall women.  Each piece is designed to go beyond offering added length, the pieces are designed specific to the bodies of tall women.  This project will bring two styles of maxi dresses out of production in Chicago.  Steffes chose to keep manufacturing domestic to accommodate the lower production run minimums.  Lower minimums will assist in keeping cost down in the earlier stages of her business. 

  Steffes is working with a Chicago based company, Stitch Method who has been instrumental in the completion of prototypes, fabric sourcing and managing manufacturing.  The Madeline Lubrano Collection will continue to expand with the goal of offering a full line of clothing to tall women everywhere.
