If you have daddy issues, please get therapy before writing a Netflix sponsored fanfic of a beloved Japanese IP.
Bro really out here like:
Genuinely embarrassing lmfao
1000% self-fellatio
The absolute clown.
The guy who deserves to be shoved into a locker, then have that locker shoved into a bigger locker.
Do you think his back hurts from benching over trying to suck his own cock so much?
No one who isn't a raging narcissist goes around talking about themselves like this unironically.
Consider me intrigued CDPR, you have my attention.
I mean I've heard the romance in Cyberpunk was well received so I imagine they'll do a decent job with Ciri's romantic options. As I've said before because Ciri doesn't have a canon endgame in the books it does give them a lot more freedom than they had with Geralt (since they were already bending his character too much by offering Triss as even an option in the first place). I think they'll enjoy the creative freedom Ciri can offer. That being said i dont know how they'll do with writing romance that is meant to appeal to a female main character like Ciri. Like I think Ciri would sleep around like Geralt but she would still have differences to what she looks for in a romance compared to Geralt.
Can this game just come out already 😫
This is the lions and jaguars anon: i sent that because i was gonna ask
Have you ever seen a sport in person at a stadium?
Is it worth it?
I’m thinking of going to florida next years to see the jaguars at their home stadium
Oh absolutely I've seen sports live.
I'm a season ticket holder at my football team here in Scotland.
And yes its worth it. I can imagine in Florida the weather will also be a lot nicer than the weather i normally experience here in Scotland 😅

I played a new game and that means I'm back on my analysis bullshit. And by new game I mean Legends ZA which came out last year I know but dudes I was busy ok, Master degree dissertation and graduation and job hunting (in this economy) is no joke ok.
SO eh, I like Naveen. Allow me to explain partly why despite the fact fandom seem to have a polarised opinion on him. I think part of that might be unflattering projection but I digress.
One thing I really appreciate about Naveen in Pokémon Legends ZA is that the game seems to understand something that a lot of people don't... Sometimes teenagers get really attached to online creators because those creators are filling a need that isn't being met anywhere else.
And honestly... Naveen is kind of painfully realistic because of it.
Because look at his relationship with Canari for a second. The thing that stands out to me is that he doesn't actually seem interested in meeting her.
Like... at all.
A lot of stories would probably have gone down the route of making him obsessed with getting noticed by his favourite streamer or becoming her friend or proving he's special somehow.
But that's not really what Naveen wants. Validation is what he wants.
What he wants is to prove he's a real fan.
And if you've ever spent five minutes in fandom spaces you immediately recognise what's going on there.
Because the desire isn't actually proximity... It's belonging. He wants to know the lore. He wants to know the references. He wants the credentials. He wants to be able to stand in a room full of other fans and have nobody question whether he belongs there.
And that's such a teenager thing. Pokemon since ScVi DLC seems to have nailed teenagers, at least mostly, and like... I'm here for it.
But anyway, because fandom isn't always about the creator as a person and Naveen is mature enough to know Canar i herself isn't what he is seeking.
And when you look at Naveen's life... that starts making a lot of sense.
This is a kid whose grandmother disapproved of his sewing to the point that she literally threw away his sewing kit.
A kid whose dream of becoming a fashion designer was treated as something that needed to be shut down rather than encouraged.
A kid who eventually ran away from home and joined Team MZ because they gave him a place where he could actually keep doing the thing he loved.
I kind of want to ask...
Where else was he supposed to get validation and unjudgemental supportit? TeamMZ are still relatively new to him, he is guarded because he has been betrayed before by the guardians in his life so he wasn't going to open up to them right away. The distance that the screen provides allows him to seek validation in Canari without fearing hurt or rejection from a "real" person.
Canari is not Naveen's crush or anything like that, in his mind she's barely real. She is a representation of belonging and emotional fulfilment without the stress or fear that comes with being let down in real life. Canari will stream at the same time every day, she is constant and unchanging in that regard, she won't let him down or reject him or judge him the way his grandmother did.
Because that's the thing.
Teenagers don't usually become emotionally invested in things for no reason.
They gravitate toward places that make them feel understood.
Places that make them feel welcome.
Places where somebody says "hey, what you care about actually matters."
For Naveen, that seems to have been Canari and her community.
And honestly... I find that incredibly sympathetic.
People keep bringing up the fact that he watches Canari's streams during Team MZ meetings and, to be clear, I don't think the game is saying that's healthy. I don't think they want us to assume Naveen should stay like this the rest of his life.
Skipping your responsibilities because your favourite streamer went live is... probably not ideal. The game knows that. The audience knows that. Naveen himself probably knows that.
But there's a huge difference between saying "this kid is maybe a little too invested" and saying "this kid is pathetic."
And I think Pokémon Legends Z-A understands that distinction surprisingly well.
The game pokes fun at him occasionally...
But it never really treats him like some kind of creepy loser for having fandom interests, it definitely frames Canari's more adult fans as being creepier than Naveen. And even then those fans are still used to teach the moral that because Canari doesn't love her Eelektross because its strong but because she loves it unconditionally and thus they should love their partner Pokémon unconditionally too shows they have a degree of respect for these people who find comfort in fan spaces.
The joke is usually that he's enthusiastic. That he's a little too committed. That he's the kind of kid who absolutely knows every piece of Canari trivia ever recorded.
Not that he's fundamentally weird for finding comfort in an online community.
and sure he gets annoyed at Urbain/Taunie constantly getting Canari's name wrong. But like... if we had a favourite singer and your friends kept saying their name wrong you'd also get annoyed. That's not simping that's human nature.
And honestly... I appreciate that a lot.
Because I think a lot of people who grew up online recognise exactly what's happening here. You find a creator you like. You start watching every stream. You learn all the in-jokes. You start following the community. You start caring way too much about proving you're a "real fan" because teenagers long for a sense of belonging even when they pretend they don't.
And then one day you realise this silly little internet thing has become one of the places where you feel most at home.
The tragedy isn't that Naveen likes a streamer. The tragedy is that he seems to need that sense of belonging so badly in the first place.
So when I look at him, I don't really see a joke character.I see a lonely teenager who found a community that made him feel valued...And then held onto it a little tighter than he probably should have.
And honestly? I think that's one of the most human things about him.
And I think that's why his arc works for me.
Because the solution isn't that Naveen learns Canari was secretly overrated all along or that online communities are bad.
The solution is that he gradually finds people in the real world who can offer him some of the same things he was looking for online.
Through the player and the rest of Team MZ, he starts building relationships with people who actually appreciate his talents, support his interests, and genuinely want him around. For maybe the first time in a long time, he has a community that isn't separated from him by a screen.
And I think that's important because the game never frames Canari or her community as the enemy. They helped him through a difficult period of his life. They gave him somewhere to belong when he desperately needed it.
But as Naveen becomes closer to Team MZ, it feels like he no longer needs to cling quite so tightly to that world. He can still be a fan. He can still enjoy Canari's streams. He can still participate in that community.
The difference is that it stops being his only source of belonging.
And honestly... I think that's a much kinder message than "touch grass" narratives usually manage.
Sometimes people need online communities. Like damn I've made so many friends through Tumblr, friends who I only know because we all didn't like a white haired video game waifu (you all know who you are) or friends who I've met because we have the same silly Batman opinions.
Online community in moderation is good. The goal isn't to take them away.
The goal is to make sure people have enough love and support elsewhere that they don't have to rely on them for absolutely everything.
did you know if you google your blog name google ai now summarises your blog
That is..... terrifying. Like on one hand ok kinda neat, on another hand that means its learning off what people write here. People post their own creative works on this platform and it has access to those.
AI is... i am very torn on it. I know for certain things it'll be remarkably helpful but other things it'll be equally detrimental.
But i am not going to pretend im in any way informed enough to talk more on this topic. What i will say is where other people have been saying "ask ChatGPT" I still just google it and check the first few links instead.
So i’m a huge american football fan but oddly my fav team is not my hometeam, i like the detroit lions don’t get me wrong, but i’m a jaguars fan til the end
Cool.... i don't know what either of those are.
I'm a football fan (ie. Soccer) and I watch Formula 1 and occasionally Tennis and Cricket if its on.
Besides that I know almost nothing about most other sports
Nothing worse than falling for a ship that is SOOOOOOOOOOO obscure AO3 only has 4 fics for it in total and 3 of them are by the same person.
Like i love all of the Team MZ cast, and I understand why Trainer/Rival (Harmony x Urbain or Paxton x Taunie) is so popular.
But damn it I love the idea of Harmony/Paxton x Naveen. The way they mirrors what he likes about Canari but in a healthier relationship and not the distant fan/streamer one he has with Canari. How they are the only ones in the group who doesn't mock his favourite streamer, instead can offer to give up their chance at a rank up battle to get him an autograph. How he starts out distant from them and slowly opens up. I do favour the Harmony x Naveen version since I play as the female trainer but thw dynamics are identical.
Honestly all of Team MZ just deserve more screen time the whole dynamic is fun. A rag tag bunch of older teens/young adults playing as heroes of the city they love. This deserves an anime. Or a College AU where they alp balance College classes, saving the city, and their social lives.
This game has its flaws but damn its charming. I can overlook a lot if you've got charm.
Omg she's perfect 😭

I've decided to reward myself for my recent achievements (new, better paying job and my SAT prep is paying off) and so here's an anti talia and by extension LoA post to cleanse my palate.
I've recently finished the whole demon trilogy (Bride, and Birth) and they're all lackluster with Son and Birth taking the whole nothing-burger cake, but Bride of the Demon is really the one that stuck out to me. (If you don't know the general plot: Ra's teams up with a scientist and creates a gas that repairs the ozone but has deadly consequences for humanity. Batman, obviously, is against this and stops him. Again, this story is predictable with Talia flip-floping, declaring her love for Bruce while leaving his family to be killed, allows Bruce to be captured and wants to save him, blah and blah. You all know the drill at this point.)
Two key points, to keep in mind with the rest of the post:
Talia is a key player in the League and at times has a high level of command. This is established in prior comics, but is cemented in this particular one. Seemingly, Talia can pick and choose missions and when she does decide to act, Ra's puts her in charge. To act as if Talia is not instrumental in various League ventures or is unaware of the nature of Ra's work is laughable. Talia, within this comic, states that she agrees with Ra's later on.
Talia really has not moral compass, at least in this particular story. Talia is guided by her loyalty to Ra's, which is pretty weak in the first place. While she may want better for the planet or she doesn't beleive in killing innocents, she doesn't seem to have a want to actually make a concerted effort to change her ways or her position in life. Because of this, the argument that Talia is a firmly, established misunderstood antihero just doesn't make sense to me. Talia doesn't operate in a actual moral framework, she doesn't operate nor is she narratively placed into a heroic role, and she doesn't have actual traditional heroic traits.
Now then, the main reason I have this panels out up above is because Talia quite literally doesn't actually hold any deeper love for Bruce. She is quite literally equipped with the knowledge that Bruce will be killed and is fine with it. While, you could say that Talia is lying to herself and that she does want Bruce to live deep down, this doesn't truly reveal anything about her character. Talia doesn't try to save or warn Bruce of his death, she stands by idle.
Talia doesn't have any qualms with idea of Bruce dying due to Ra's/the Leagues actions despite the fact that Talia would be complicit in Bruce's death.
Told you, Talia does fundamentally believe in Ra's. Talia does believe that she is doing good by *looks at Ra's messy scribbles* killing most of humanity, potentially destroying existing ecosystems. Every good thing that Talia did, which wasn't many, was due to Talia loving Bruce. And even the love she holds for Bruce is quite one-sided and self-centered.
Now then, I'm sure there are people that will say "Hey, she missed. She actually still likes Bruce. You're just being harsh and don't understand." Well, no. As established, Talia would have been complicit in Bruce's death if Shard had managed to kill him as she was aware and agreed with the plan and she didn't move to help him when she had the chance. She also never showed remorse for her actions.
Furthermore, Talia doesn't have an actual change of heart, but she rather chickens out, "betrays" Ra's and "assists" Bruce because of love. Again, Talia doesn't have a moral framework she operates in, she isn't firm in her convictions, even if she does believe in Ra's. Now then, this is both a result of racism and the fact that Talia is defined by the men in her life. However, this lack of morality, selfishness, and lack of accountability is still a integral part of her character like it or not.
Also, Talia doesn't actually help Bruce all that much. She is happy to leave his family to die (Alfred and Tim) due to Ra's plans and to save Bruce, disregarding Bruce's personal life.
These panels infuriates me. Talia crying about manipulating, taking advantage of a persons trust, harassment. Girl please. I can't with this. I'm having a hard time putting it into words.
Talia's here having a woe is me session, not at all feeling guilt for the shit that she did to Bruce all while acting like she truly cares about Bruce's wellbeinging, and still is swooning over him. Thank you Alfred for interrupting.
And the whole "there's people that care about you" just rubs me wrong. Like if Talia truly cared, Talia wouldn't be here. Talia wouldn't have volunteered for the mission. Talia has a very shallow and self-centered view of her love for Bruce. She wants Bruce to be converted to her side, she sees his struggles and wants as trivial and beneath him, and by extension her.
I know there will be some that will say she finds his methods questionable. But, she doesn't follow through on that train of thought, nor does she fully agree with the assessment as we should note the word "maybe". Sure, Talia may not enjoy killing people, but she sure as hell isn't against it. Talia, even with her slight criticism, doesn't actually do anything to alleviate the pain that Ra's plans will cause.
Talia is, again with the word, instrumental for Ra's and that is, just like in this comic, her choice. She wanted to go on this mission, knowing full-well Ra's intentions.
Talia is unironically paying lip service, possibly to lessen her growing guilt or to distance herself from her actions. Talia's previous and future actions are not consistent with the above criticism of Ra's methods.
Saying murder is bad while actively murdering someone doesn't magically decrease the magnitude of the aforementioned crime.
Really, like with the whole "your manipulating me" stick and the above panel, this is just Talia lacking morality and a backbone.
Cause Ra's and Talia are hypocrites Bruce! Hypocrites of the highest order because they are unironically causing such unimaginable harm all while dressing it up in pretty language.
And I'll end here, and probably make a brief post talking about Birth because literally nothing happens and it's just not interesting. Like, I'm sorry. It's just exposition and re-writing previously established canon which okay sure but it's so boring.
And I've said this many times: All these demon stories could quite literally be 18 to 24 pages long and nothing would change. Talia and Ra's are barely build upon and developed, Bruce's character is stagnant, the story is dragged. Like, it's not interesting!
CLAIRE REDFIELD MY BELOVED
I got Pokémon Legends ZA. And its better than ScVi in almost every way I am baffled at how poor the marketing and post launch support has been for this game compared to ScVi.
I prefer the setting, it feels alive unlike Paldea. I believe people can live in this city. I had no sense of how anyone lived in the barren wasteland that was Paldea. Like yes visual variety is important but Pokémon had been neglecting its urban environments more or less since like.... honestly Lumiose might have been the last great one. So to see they can still do it is nice. Natural environments are nice and important but I still want to feel like this world is lived in, people and Pokémon living together it what makes the world feel real and alive and emersive and thats what I get from Lumiose City.
I prefer Team MZ to the Paldean trio. Not shocking the only member of the Paldean Trio is really liked was Arven. But the real reason for preferring Team MZ is they all feel like they could be friends even when the protagonist isnt around. No matter what Mochi Mayhem wants me to believe I will never buy Arven and Penny as friends. Or Penny and Nemona. Maybe at a stretch I could see Nemona and Arven become friendly acquaintances. But without the player none of them give the other a second glance. And while that can work sometimes they did not develop that group as a group until the 11th hour so it feels forced. Team MZ never feel like that.
So far I prefer the plot. But I am highly critical of ScVi's plot i dont think its as deep as people seem to think it is. Like its fine but its no Gen5.
Is it perfect? No. It needs polish as a concept. It needs a bigger dex. The Wild Zones needed more verticality, more like the Battle Zones.
But damn if it isn't the most fun I've had with a Pokémon game in a long time. Also the customisation is great, please more of this and less of the ScVi bullshit.
With the official reveal of Songs of the Past for the Witcher 3 coming out next year all I can think is what is the reason that this had to be an expansion to The Witcher 3 and not a prequel expansion or tie in specifically to The Witcher 4. Because they've implied it's like a prelude to The Witcher 4 so why make it be tied to a decade old game, and only the next gen versions of said decade old game so not everyone who owns The Witcher 3 can even play it.
I assume they will have a good answer for that which will become evidence as more is revealed.
Anyway, I may finally need to invest in that PlayStation 5, its a good thing i got a new job recently. Although I did just buy a Switch 2....
“Which is better sceptile or blaziken”
Is an argument i find pointless because like
It depends on the version to me
Like sceptile is gonna do better in sapphire than ruby by default, team aqua IS the water team after all
I’d say they’re equal in emerald
I don't think it matters because unless your starter is like atrociously bad, which most are not, then everyone will just pick their favourites.
I prefer Sceptile but Blaziken is my second favourite.

This is an odd question but
I prefer pearl over platinum, first and favorite rpg i have ever played
So
Do you think someone like me, who is used to pearl’s differences from platinum, would enjoy shining pearl? Or is it a bad remake even by that standard?
I mean you'll prefer it compared to people like me who much prefer the qualify of life improvements Platinum brought.
Shining Pearl will just be a 'newer' version of Pearl. Although you may have issues with movement purely due to the fact the overworld is still built on a grid but you do not move on a grid anymore, even when using the D-pad and thus moments like that 1 square wide ledge to get into Mt Coronet can be annoyingly precise now.
I'd say if you can get it cheap then by all means get it and play it.
I had the most bizarre dream that I told you guys I’m a Cramorant fan and despise Dipplinshipping now
Wild
Anyway here’s an old Valentine pic I forgot to upload of our favorite lovable idiots lol
Enjoy ❤️
