Eclectic

Here's a bit of Star Wars if you enjoyed The Mandalorian and Grogu. I just finished reading Star wars, The Clone Wars, Strange Allies (Windham, Dewey, Hao and Heisler) graphic novel. Junior Chiss Jedi Nuru kungurama, Yoda, a troop of clone troopers, an eccentric battle droid and a space ogre biker along with a cast of other aliens get in a tangle across the galaxy with pirate gangs, and end up coming to the rescue of a cargo of alien babies. Pictured, the scene with Nuru sparring with droids that probably inspired the scene with Thrawn from Rebels.

I've finished reading Survivor's Quest and the novel's various twists and turns kept me occupied. I have decided to pick up a thread from further back in the Star Wars timeline, the story of Nuru Kungarama, the force sensitive Chiss child in the EU who was probably the inspiration behind Grogu. I have 4 of the 5 novels, hopefully I will find the other one soon.

Processing a huge boot sale haul. Two stalls at the local boot sale were doing clearances for the families of collectors / dealers, one was a load of Star Wars and Marvel stuff, the other, vintage prints and photos. Part of the collection.

Today's book haul, a book on Antarctica by scientists and artists. A novel about blue gods, Humans and mysteries, and a book about the fate of the Great Auks.

I currently have some paintings on show at the Royal Bath and West show in Somerset. I went and had a look at some of the animals on show, and these Somerset sheeted cows were the most unusual. The breed died out in the 30s and has just been resurrected through genetic reconstruction.
