Mackenna's Gold | 1969
Thank you @midala-of-the-valley
The last book I read: Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
A book I'd recommend: EVERYONE GO READ TRAINSPOTTING BY IRVINE WELSH NOW!!!!
A book I couldn't put down: Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T E Lawrence
A book l've read twice or more: The Night of The Generals by H H Kirst. It was for fic purposes but I find I enjoy it and wish the movie took more from it
A book on my tbr: I have so many on my shelf but I've been looking forward to reading Where Eagles Dare by Alister MacLean
A book I've put down: The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley. It was really disappointing as I thought it would be horror in a Scotland setting but it was page after page of different characters and the Scottish guy was basically a walking stereotype. I got sick of it, stopped reading and gave it to charity
A book on my wish list: Again, so many, but my next buy will probably be Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak. I wasn't a fan of the film (I'M SO SORRY DAVID LEAN AND OMAR SHARIF) but I usually enjoy books more than their movie counterparts so we'll see...
A favourite book from childhood: I can't recall any of childhood but I can remember reading The Lord of the Flies by William Golding in my final year of Secondary and passing my Higher English for my papers on it
A book l'd give to a friend: A Game of Thrones by George R.R Martin. I have the whole set and additional books
A book of poetry or lyrics that I own: Scots Gaelic book of Poetry
A non-fiction book that own: I have so many war ones. Closest I have is Forgotten Voices Dunkirk by Joshua Levine
What I'm currently reading: Storm of Steel by Ernst JĂźnger
What I'm planning on reading next: The Nazi Mind by Laurence Rees
Tagging: @david-watts @thealienwizard01 @laurieance @denisglillie @b1uetrees @schattengestalt (no pressure!)
Lawrence: I'm leaving
Ali, on the verge of tears: you are leaving me?? I mean what about the Arab revolt????
@herawell I'll have you know I've been thinking about this for 3 days now ;_;

instead of cuteness aggression I have sexual aggression where if I think you're hot it makes me want to bite out your throat like a rabid dog
I want to draw him in huge quantities
So, I finally watched "Lawrence of Arabia," in which Lawrence himself was the least interesting to me, but Sherif Ali immediately became my favorite đ¤
