apologies to the three people who apparently sent me asks in november 2019 that i didn’t see

this is also the first time in a while i haven’t had a hiatus queue planned. because there is no more hiatus. fucking ouch

god i just remember seeing the set that one time before it even aired, and being so excited when the show was announced. and now it’s over. it feels like a new era of my life

the irony of me zoning out during a philosophy class to think about the good place is heavy, but i just wanted to ramble about how perfect the ending was because the thing that never fails to make me cry is when a character peacefully dies after living a long, happy, fulfilling life with the people they love. cap that off with tahani managing to find a way to help all the people she didn’t help in her life, and michael getting to live the human life he always wanted to, and even mindy st. claire breaking her cycle of existence and agreeing to try to form some real bonds with other people…………and you have me sitting in a corner with my eyeshadow running because this is the exact level of emotional pain i needed from this show. they ended it the best way they possibly could and i’m so glad.
