I've been at my sit-down office job in the news for a while now, and I've become sedentary, gaining more fat than I've ever had on me.
I'm heavier than I've ever been, and am posting photos showing more skin than I ever have before.
I've been working out my arms for a while, and they're stronger than ever--I think. I don't do cardio ... almost at all.
That's going to change.
I get winded doing so little; I've lost some flexibility and tasks take longer than they used to. My diminishing energy has surprised me several times.
I'm not posting "before" photos to motivate me to lose a bunch of weight. Getting thin isn't my goal.
It's not my goal--or something I feel obligated to do--because of countless women and others posting their real, unedited selves as part of what some call the body positivity movement.
These photos are just a goofy way to say ...
I love my body.
Having a stomach that hangs over is fine; folds are fine; cellulite and stretch marks are fine.
And that my (camera person) friend Cierra is good at making me laugh when trying new things.
