The Fury of Humanity

Gregor had travelled the world and seen many amazing sights; he had also fought many people during those travels for a day’s wage. But here in Hive he had met his match.

A vending machine.

The strange statue was just propped up next to a building, and the sellsword was strangely entranced by what appeared to be food behind the window… but how would he get to brightly coloured paper inside? There was no latch to open the window, and knocking his fist onto the pane did naught but give the man an aching hand. It was all very confusing.

Eren, in his routine patrol of the city(or actually, just walking since boredom was kind of killing him) had spotted the sellsword and his apparent predicament with the machine that had once enchanted Eren as much as it did the burly looking stranger. Seeing him struggle with the machine reminded him of how he too had trouble during his first encounter with it.

He had approached the tall man, a small, knowing smile on his visage as his fingers took out loose change from his uniform's pockets. Eren then shook the change in his balled fist, and one by one, inserted the required amount of coins to get himself a snack from the machine.

"Just like that, see? You insert coins in that slot there, and then punch in the numbers... and..." The machine comes to life, expelling the snack from the stainless steel pane, which Eren then swiftly grabs and tosses to the older male.

Hips: Is there anything you over indulge yourself with?

Liver: What is your biggest pet peeve?

Lungs: Do you smoke, how do you feel about smoking in general?

Mouth: How often do you lie?

Nails: When you’re feeling vulnerable, do you become more defensive or do you take the offensive and lash out?

Palms: Do you have a secret handshake with anyone?

Ribs: Do you have anything you want to protect?

Scars: Is there anything you want to confess?

Shoulders: Would you rather be pampered or be the one pampering?

Spine: What is your biggest weakness?

Teeth: What is your favourite meal?

Thighs: Have you ever been unfaithful?

Throat: What is your proudest memory?

Tongue: How many languages can you speak?

Wrists: Have you ever been arrested?

Ah. Yes that moment when one found that their speaking companion was..very small. The hobbit blinked up at him sensibly with large blue eyes, very old eyes in such a young face. His smile was gentle, almost humored at the boy’s reaction and he lightly shifted to one foot. 

"Yes, well, I didn’t think you would know I’d be down here to begin with, if it helps. Not many have seen or heard of a hobbit. "

"Ah... right. You're... not a kid, huh?" He just had to ask to be sure. The soldier than crouched down, so as not to bother the other's neck for having to crane it to look up at him.

"...There's such a day? Foreign holidays still surprise me. Well, maybe because it's hell back home that we don't get the luxury of such holidays. But, I suppose it's a nice change of pace."

He sincerely hopes this one would be a normal holiday... considering what those pricks in labcoats were capable of.

"Hey thanks--...? Eh?" When the boy had turned to say his thanks, his expression became puzzled. His eyes met only the emptiness of air, but it did catch a glimpse of what seems to be tufts of hair, but way below their anticipated range for a person. 

Eyes cast down, and Eren blinked for a few moments. 

"My parents know."

"Don’t go."

"You’re under arrest."

"Make me."

"Kiss me you idiot."

"I didn’t do it."

"That isn’t mine."

"Marry me?"

"Truth hurts, don’t it?"

"Be mine."

"You owe me."

"Just relax."

"I already regret this."

"Where are my clothes?"

"You could have killed someone!"

"I think I broke it."

"Do you love me?"

"We need to talk."

"Never again."

"Do I know you?"

"How drunk are you right now?" 

"Well that was unexpected." 

"Have you ever even done this before?" 

"I just want to cuddle."

"I can’t even look at you."

"What happened to you?"

"Don’t you dare."

"I missed you."

"This stays between us."

"I need a hug."

"I could kill you!"

"Kiss me."

"You’re so weird."

"Why are you wearing that?"

"You coward."

"You’re all out of ____."

"You. Come. Snuggle. NOW!"

"I think I’m forgetting something."

"This seems familiar."

"You lied to me!"

"Are you threatening me?"

"Is that my shirt?"

"Where did you find this?"

"Explain yourself."

"Where were you?"

"You drive me crazy!"

"I think I’m falling in love with you. "

"Are you even listening to me?"

"Just leave me alone."

"I need a drink."

"What were you thinking?"

"I dare you." or "I dare you to _____."

"I’m going to be sick."

"For you, I would _____"

"Just what did we do last night?"

"Give it back."

"I have to go."

"Shut up and listen."

"Do you remember this?"

"Want to hear a secret?"

"Take responsibility."

"Don’t look at me like that."

"Give me another chance."

"Don’t you dare come near me!"

"What the hell do you think you’re doing?"

"You mean everything to me."

"Why yes, I am as think as you drunk I am."

"What are you afraid of?"

"I miss you so very much."

"No, that can’t be my baby."

"Just five more minutes."

"No! You can’t die on me now!"

"That’s the cheesiest pickup line I’ve ever heard."

"Put. The. Weapon. Down."

"What are we doing here?"

"Do you trust me?"

"That sounds painful."

"Are you even listening to yourself?"

"I’m not speaking to you anymore."

"I can’t believe you missed that."

"That was a bad plan."

"That looked easier on TV."

"I’ve never heard that one before."
