I just got done watching bill and Ted’s bogus journey (guys it’s so peak the first one is my second favorite movie) but guys we need more angst around Ted and the weird general guy from Alaska. Like he didn’t just show up in hell for no reason there has to be a reason (other than being forced into military camp) that Ted is so scared of him, he literally looks terrified when he shows up

being in the newsies fandom in 2026 is funny because sometimes people will be like "is the newsies fandom still alive" or i'll get a comment on my fic that's like "wow newsies fanfic in the big 2026." and i'm like. yeah man. it's also one of those musicals that a loooot of people got into between the years of 2017-2021 when they were like 12 years old and it was one of their gateway musicals that got them into theatre in general. and i just totally missed it. i watched the proshot and listened to the soundtrack for the first time in october of 2025. i watched the movie for the first time in december. i've only been in this fandom for seven months. so every time i see someone say something like "oh whoa still a newsies fan in 2026" i'm like dawg i JUST got here lol
