At his prolonged silence, you begin to think he left, “Jud?” “I have.” Another beat, and then the sound of fabric shifting draws your attention, tilting your head down to find jud looking off to the side, lips pressed against his knuckles to support his chin. slowly, his eyes drift to yours, “i’ve had sex.” The two of you stare at each other in silence, teetering on the edge of awkward.
