I WATCHED THE GOODBYE EITO STAGEPLAY AND I HAVE THOUGHTS (spoilers and also tw for descriptions of self harm)

I’m actually so devastated. Like my heart aches. Eito delivered a really emotional monologue, he was getting really drooly and snotty and was crying on the floor. at some point while he’s monologuing he TAKES OFF HIS GLASSES AND SHOWS THE AUDIENCE and the watch party I was in went insane. They did makeup for Eito’s eye holes to show how badly he mutiliated himself

HE WAS TRYING TO PUT ON A BRAVE FACE FOR THE FUTURAN KIDS TOO 😭 he got down on their level and talked to them like ouhhhh

IM SO SICK YHIS WHOLE THING WAS SO WELL ACTED AND HEARTBREAKING. eito brought everyone out for the bows at the end which i thought was cute

I’m gonna take a nap bc I pulled the craziest all nighter for this <3 hundred line stageplay is awesome and i am in pain but it’s awesome

edit: i forgot to mention HE ALSO TOOK HIS GLOVES OFF AND HELD THEIR SHOULDERS 😭 AND SEDUM - SINCERE PLAYED AT THE END

hi meowmeows i watched the r0 stageplay, here are my thoughts (SPOILERS)

The staging, lighting, effects, etc were all really cool. I particularly really liked how they did the commander absorptions

Eito rubbing his glasses when Darumi came back how can I make this Darumi/Eito crumbs??

Tsubasa and Gaku started singing and I said omg?! I was smiling sm at that part

ALSO the turamtammi idol number where the sdu joins in are you kidding meeee. it was so cute and fun i like how stageplay adaptations have the freedom to add stuff like that

kurara yelling at the sdu and making everyone kneel 😭 + darumi stands up to say something while kurara is yelling but eito is behind her and pulls her back down 🥺 EITO IS ALLOWED TO INTERACT W CHARACTERS WHO AREN’T TAKUMI…….. also yes I am taking this as daruei crumbs too bc that’s just how I roll

Btw this stage play is so good for einozo crumbs like SCREW TAKUMI……

eito and kurara hating each other but one of them actually making the other laugh at some point. not just a bitter "letting air out through your nostrils" type of laugh, an actual real laugh because they're both so funny with their insults. an "ugh i shouldn't be laughing but that was funny and i low key agree" moment

them trashtalking some commoner and agreeing with each other that others are beneath them... yup mhm nods my head

imagine them having a moment where they actually laugh together... cuter than anything ever...

as much as a eito romance route would be cute, i really hope we get to see Eito's dynamics with other characters in the dlc. While eitaku is neat and all, he (and honestly most other characters, feel like they dont really interact besides with their lil cliques most of the time, eito just gets the brunt of it bc hes in a cage or dead 90% of the time) could have some interesting and cute lil dynamics with other characters.

Yugamu shows interest in him in the KG route, Shouma takes care of Eva when shes in the cage so hes prob bringing him food to while at it, Nozomi is literally his foil and they dont really interact, and im sure depending on circumstance different characters could gain some kind of interest in him.

also another Eito protag route maybe?? route where he succeeds with all his plans and kills everyone would be great for that (dont ask me how thatd happen, im sure theres some kind of way). i wanna see more of his thoughts and opinions and allat, hes an interesting character yk? also the idea of him realising that hes actually not happy once hes "won" bc he does actually want connection deep down and deludes himself/is convinced that he doesnt, but now that hes faced with the solitude he cant deny that anymore as it sinks into him. or maybe, he would really truly be happy in a completely empty world, finally at peace as hes able to breath freely without humanity's presence weighing him down. who knows?

I’ve been thinking about the hundred line stage play lately since it’s so close… so are Eito and Takumi gonna make out sloppy style on stage for Boy Meets Boy?! I love that post so much I think it was actually the first time I saw Eirara being discussed in the wild?! So I was very excited about that lol. Like YAY someone else sees it too. I’ve actually shared it with a few people when they asked me why I ship Eito with Kurara and I think it helped my case ;)

AND YESSSSS I can’t wait, I always love seeing content of them… I really think more people should know about the Eito/Kurara pair! It may be among the rarest of all hundred line rare pairs but I’m putting in the work to put it on the map 🙂‍↕️

my goal isn't necessarily to make it super popular or anything, but to just get people to know it exists and normalize it. Carve out a place for it in the fandom. And then someday no one will even bat an eye at it! Someone could say they ship Eirara and the response would just be like oh cool
