  hey !! i’m shiloh, they/them, i’m 21 and this is my personal hell! this blog is for bucky barnes of mcu, but he’s going to be canon divergent. i’m gonna be exploring a few more themes and such, i’m gonna learn as i go!

there’s gonna be a drop in my activity again for about a week or so, finals are coming up and i have a few papers that are due 🥺 ill be active on wire and discord, and i’ll try to knock out a reply or two every once in a while!

little headcanon of mine   —

    bucky loves jazz music. he grew up listening to ella fitzgerald, thelonious monk, and so many other jazz musicians. he learned how to play the piano just because becoming a jazz musician was something he actually wanted to do. he still listens to 20s jazz, although he does have generations of jazz to catch up on   ;    he regularly visits bars with live entertainment, especially if they’re playing that genre.

he hums as he looks at them with distaste. even though he’d grown up with events like these, he still hated the fact the food kept getting tinier as the years went on. “they might as well just serve nothing,” he grumbles under his breath, hazel eyes flicking up to scan the room. undercover and in plain sight was something he’d gotten used to quickly, standing next to the barnes, however was something he was still wrestling with. 

           “i’d kill for a burger right now.”

     “    a burger sounds good.   “ like lowering a weapon, he lets down his guard    —     somewhat. this wasn’t the time nor place to pick a fight, he knew tony recognized that    ;    and in that revelation did his shoulders slacken a bit, an exhale and he’d pick up an hors d’oeuvre, inspect before eating it. his eyebrows furrow a bit in joking thought.

    this has to be one of the first times he visits shuri’s lab   ;   he’s amazed all the same, though, lips parted in a silent gasp at the tech that lined the desks and walls. he’s sure if he showed this to someone from the forties just like him, they’d maybe have some sort of heartattack     —     even he isn’t quite used to seeing such advancements in     ...    stuff.
