2015 to 2016

We are moving! Due to some large image problems I constantly experience once we got a new camera and other technical challanges we had, I finally decided to move the diary blog to a real blogging website hosted by Google. Hopefully it will make your browsing life easier and my uploading life happier.

Yes, it’s the same website as the old Behrens family side I used long time ago. I cleared out the old content and restarted it in 2016. All the old content on tumblr will remain here, but the new blog will have a copy once I have got the time. (that means maybe, maybe not)

2015-12-30 Margarita park and bath

We went to the park today to kill some of her energy and she loved it. Nope, she still doesn’t like swings. She still loves those rocking devices.

2015-12-29 Lego time and Costco

I got Hans and Lavinia a box of Lego that you can make into a bear, a monkey, or a squirrel. They seem to enjoy it, I get to do dishes and clean up (my cleaning mode kicking in) in peace while they play. Best money spent ever!

2015-12-28 Meeting Peter and Enjoying Rouladen

Yay! Finally met with Peter after Christmas. It’s so nice to have him visit us! So that we dont have to have baby sitter for Lavinia and still get to take care of her while we chat with Peter.

Today is also the Rouladen day! We made them with sliced beef rolling up bacon, pickled cucumber, chopped onion, and mustard sauce. Then the rolls were tied up and cooked/steamed in beef broth. It’s so delicious and seems easy to cook. (At least Cathy made it look easy...)

終於又見到好盆友彼得先生了! 很高興他能夠直接到我們這裡來見面，這樣子就不用請別人帶孩子，還可以順便一邊跟小盆友玩一邊聊天，簡直不要太容易!

2015-12-27 Walk around the neighborhood

After Lavinia opened her Christmas gift (puff the magic dragon book with CD) from aunt Kelly and uncle Reinhard, we went on for a small walk nearby following some reading time with her grandpa and grandma.

2015-12-25 Christmas day and Hemet Vreeland Christmas Part 1

Lavinia had her very first (on her own) Christmas gift opening this morning after being told that Santa might came and gave her gifts. She still insisted on looking for grandma and grandpa first. (grandma + grandpa > Santa)

2015-12-24 Behrens Family Christmas Eve

Things we did today:

- Went to see the new Star Wars VII movie! I really like the Rey girl! She is so awesome! My goddess!

- I finally got a hair cut! (since May)

- Went to Uncle Reinhard and Aunt Kelly’s place for Christmas eve dinner

- Lavinia fell asleep like last year
