So my little sister is currently replaying cult of the lamb on a new save since the last time she played was about 2ish years ago and she is KILLING ME AND MY OTHER LITTLE SISTER WITH HER RANDOM SHIT TALKING

I head canon that when Lambert first started the cult it was made to protect others who were about to be sacrificed but as time passed they became more focused on releasing the one who waits/Narinder to get them out of this cult and hopefully go anywhere else but here, assuming this universe isn't completely corrupted by different cults, including ones from the old gods.

But I feel that the more people who were indoctrinated into the cult of the lamb, the less they cared about who was sacrificed and used to gain power from the old gods.
