Rickrolling is a beautiful achievement in collective disarmament. We designated a perfectly pleasant pop song as The Prank Song, we agreed that if someone tricks you into listening to it, that means they Owned You, and now no one has to look at goatse anymore.

Realizing a lot of people that are on here were born after that particularly bad age of the internet and don't know what goatse is, so here's a quick explanation of that so you don't have to google it yourself and get flashbanged by it

I like where your head is at on this one. I'd been thinking on similar lines, but from the other direction. Coco absolutely loves magic, but does she love TEACHING? I don't see it. So the natural option for long-range Arkco shipping would be for Coco to be Agott's watchful eye. I think that Olruggio was willing to tolerate abnormalities he really ought to have reported (e.g. An Outsider learns the secret of magic) because his priority was Qifrey, but I imagine that Watchful-Eye!Coco would be more likely to be trying to find kids that the system who would otherwise not get a chance under normal rules and funnel them IN to Agott's atelier. So you'd get Coco being the driver of bringing home stray kids, and Agott trying her best to learn to adapt to the teaching styles that best suit them while Coco makes sure that Agott isn't just automatically defaulting to pushing them as hard as they'll go. On the other hand, if the kids come to genuinely love Agott, there'd probably be as much of a risk of them becoming try-hards on their own initiative, and Coco's familiar with that failure-mode too from personal experience. Did mom get de-petrified in this headcanon we're building?

No, no, I get the core concept here, and (horrifically), if you could contrive a plausible reason for them to interact, I could see how the fic would (almost) write itself. You've got two girls who normally get their way with mixtures of brains and moxy, but where Annabeth operates under what we might naively call "heroic ethics", Vriska is a machine that turns humanitarian catastrophes into opportunities for narcissistic grandstanding. I can even imagine that there's a GrekoRoman precedent for the cultural context of a Kismesis. No, what I'm wondering is: why have you made this thing? Just because American does not mean Amerishould.
