I also think Shugen would absolutely loves holding hands during sex. He notices every tiny detail. However, the amount of sleep he receives in a day becomes an increasing concern on your end.
You’ve gotten used to the wildlife that surrounds the area— what you didn’t expect is the amount of strays that somehow wandered itself near the premises of your home. Guests are a rare occurrence in your quaint little slice of haven, so visits from the occasional cats and dogs (and sometimes even raccoons), are a welcome change of pace from the otherwise quiet space.
Life w/ Fuchi is slow, and peaceful, in spite of the uneventful nature of your current life, your husband never fails to do and say things you least expect. His love for his work seeps into a lot of your conversations, but for as much as he loves talking— he also loves listening, although you'd wager he spins tales more effectively than you— he still soaks up every word that leaves you.

The change in routine and lifestyle isn't a vast difference. Acclimating to each other's habits and lifestyle isn't unheard of for married couples, and Shugen remains as dutiful to his job as he is to you, to your marriage, and ensuring you live a comfortable life together.
Life with him would be simple. A small house teetering the edge of town, a ten minute or so walking distance to the dojo, and a small walks away from the city. He actually takes his days-off now, Eizen and Sagi had to convince him there is life outside of duty, and that spending time with you inside the dojo and polishing equipment and helping w/ clean-up is not an acceptable date idea, even if you never seem to mind.
He'd often accompany you to town on his days-off, refusing to let you go alone, and adamant about not letting you carry the bags. Although he's not capable of buying grand and expensive things, he'd accomodate to your interests— saving money in secret to get you that new item you've been eyeing whenever you pass by the stalls in town.
Lots of people from town come to watch the Yamada students spar during their open-days, although the increased amounts of people visiting when word got out that Shugen would be the advisor for the training was daunting, you almost didn't see the familiar silhouette of your husband as the crowd of young and older women gathered around the premises. You remember being in their place once— an admirer, although the attention was less directed towards him specifically— the thought makes you laugh in delight nonetheless, but you're not too worried over the details— after all, amidst the sea of people, in spite of the distance between you, his eyes always seem to find yours first.
