This blog was such a wonderful adventure; it's not going anywhere, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who loved it even a smidge: you helped me through some of my darkest moments.

It called his nephew “a little lost lamb” and “not the monster.” 

And that just hit me right in my heart. 

How many times had Eddie cried himself to sleep, tears soaking through his tattered pillow as he attempted to muffle the sound of his sobs 

How many times had Eddie silently rejoiced, internally busting into a happy dance, every time the Hawkins crew returned to his rescue and didn’t abandon who everyone else deemed a lost cause 

How many times had Eddie fallen in love with someone, wholeheartedly and truly, only to realize those vulnerable moments they shared were never enough to win his entry back into teenage society 

Except. He wasn’t. The moments were all for naught.
