while i do think that bow is really really cool and suits maka well with her straightforwardness...

i also can't really see soul as archer. that's kinda doesn't feel like his forte, though I'm not really sure why exactly?

i think that maka would be something really really difficult to wield. i think soul would need to work extra hard to understand not the whole soul resonance thing, but technique of wielding her as weapon. i think that literally no one else would be able to fugire out how to fight with her. and also i think soul should be both pissed and delighted to wield her.

so yeah my best option for maka is an electro guitar because this is hella cool and also because that would explore maka inability to fight alone since she can't play music to save her life and also nevan is my favorite weapon in dmc3 so i totally can imagine soul going like

and than destroying everyone's faces with ungodly riff

and like i can imagine maka's happiness at finding a meister who can unleash her potential??? after years of fearing not being able to fight because no one is able to get how the hell to use guitar in a fight??? that makes me think too much...

also her weapon form no matter now weaponly and deadly it looks must have little angels idol-like wings I KEEP INSIST ON IT because maka is sucker for cute things and her life would be so sad without them
