got a few requests for a shiny alt of my recent espeon drawing, here it is with the original under the cut :)

comments should always be positive. this event is focused on encouragement and engagement, meaning that constructive criticism is not allowed. be respectful to the people and works you're commenting on!

comments must be at least four sentences long. they should also be meaningful and relevant to the project you're reading; mention characters, moments, themes, artistic ability, or anything that stood out to you!

you must leave at least three comments on projects within the masterlist. if you are a participant and do not meet this quota, you will not be allowed to participate in the next event!

all forms of clangen projects are welcome here. this could mean a comic, a written story, a hybrid of both, etc. however, projects must be tumblr-based.

do not submit someone else's work when sending in the form. it must be your own project!

each participant can only submit one project.

make sure you leave your comment on the individual post i make for the project you choose. otherwise, your comment will not count (meaning do not leave a comment on the original blog. i won't be able to find it, and having a post within this blog keeps things more concise)! if you want to find the individual posts for every project, head over to the masterlist.

if you're having trouble with coming up with comment ideas, here's some food for thought:

Hello clangen community!! I’ve made some free to use OC reference sheet templates for all your clangen needs and desires, including the transparent empty template version for if you want to make a custom background yourself! You don’t need to credit or link me in the post if you do end up using these, just don’t remove the credit on the template itself and you’re all set! I’ve made a template for this before but it was. very bad. so I decided to remake it and make it a lil prettier this time, using the backgrounds from the game itself.

Additional tips just in case: To add in your cats sprite, color pick the color of the solid square behind the [insert sprite here] model and draw over it! It should now be open for you to put your own sprites there. Also, if you’re making your own customized version using the transparent template, I use overlay clipping layers to change the color of the template itself, like the cyan overlay I used for the crystal river/wastelands/fjord maps.
