I decided to add a fundamental detail to Simon when I was already 5,348 words into the damn character study, I have to go through and fix everything and do set-prep for hooks later in the fic shoot me it’s gonna take at least two pages to set everything up kill me the first chapter is going to be so fucking long FUCK

I’ve literally been working on this fic for a month but I’ve only been writing for about a week total. Because I’m apples and bananas crazy, and need to make my gay space story as scientifically reasonable as possible through sheer willpower and a fuck ton of research.

So far I’ve:

Made a written language for Eden,

i’ve made a mock up of what I think space rations in the IL verse look like, (because for a suffering universe Simon is BIG)

and I’ve done entirely too much research on how table salt will help keep Simon alive after being in the Doom-Tube of Horror and Radiation, among other things

This isn’t even all of my notes this is just what I most recently wrote down
