I look at this picture and it brings back memories of you, not that I forgot you for a second, you are a part of me. You wanted me to walk with you, so you could show me around, teach me stuff I didn't know, you believed so much in me. You encouraged me a lot, you made sure I was well taken care of. When things went south, you would tell me "It is well", it sounded pretty cliche at the time but now I know better. You were full of virtue, sacrificing your comfort for the good of others. You showed me another level of responsibility, you loved and lived with an open heart. With you, I was always covered. It is exactly a year since you passed and it still feels surreal, like it was yesterday. I remember how the news tore me apart and if tears or words could bring you back, mine would have been enough to do the job. I will not forget all you lived for, all you taught me, how you loved.
