“You call this a connection?” Oh man! Less than 24 hours from now I debut my first ever male solo performance!!! This Paso Doble/Modern Fusion had presented me with my greatest challenges yet and I’m proud to say that I’ve overcome them. Yesterday evening we performed our final runs of Hero the Rock Musical and it is bittersweet for it to finally be over I’ve had the honor and the privilege to share the stage with such an amazing and talented cast and crew that now I am proud to say have become friends and a part of my life This musical took a lot out of me mentally and physically from a sprained ankle to bruises and cuts along with moments where I’ve contemplated whether I should push through or just give up I was so drained and in so much pain in the end but the feeling of accomplishing this journey is so much more rewarding and I’m glad I decided to pull through and persevere.
