I feel like this needs to be said as I was involved in drama unfortunately to defend someone 6/7 years younger then the attacker. You do not need to sort things out that doesn’t make you more or less of an adult. You don’t talk things out when your abuser beats you do you? Some people do more harm when talking things out or use that fact that y’all talked things out as à justification to not improve or to reflect and to justify they never did anything. I didn’t wanna talk things out because it’s not my place and I don’t wanna talk to someone who’s friend irl and their best friend who they tell everything told me which I believe because why else would you make that a key point tried to say I hurt this person by a uncontrolled episode where I had a relapse when they weren’t there or awake when it happened and tried to twist the timeline to make it seem like I never listened to their advice. They tried to twist the timeline knowing I have memory problems due to my depression and mental health and tried to victimize themselves for my relapse which fucking SICKENS me. So no you don’t need to talk things out to seem like an adult. I’m moving on on my own because I realize that talking things out isn’t gonna help me and benefits only them.
