randante feedism ideas cuz @little-pathogen is trying to write a fic
so i know his fic already has a beginning and i'm not in any way forcing him to replace it but i thought of my own thing. i can already see dante as someone with "doesn't eat enough" habits, and with how clerks 1 ends for him (plus him getting insulted for being out-of-shape) he could easily be sent into a depression wherein one of the symptoms is not eating as much. maybe it's on accident, or maybe the out-of-shape comment really gets to him so he purposefully ignores his hunger. so then randal ends up noticing and takes care of him in this way, reminding him to eat, offering to buy him food more often, etc
^ alternatively, you could see dante as someone who eats excessively when in a depressive state, and randal just notices this and starts encouraging it. in this case, dante would place most/all of the blame about his weight gain on randal, despite dante being the one to start it (and also, either way, he rarely/never objects to eating what randal offers him, and randal is never forceful about it, so it's already at least somewhat dante's fault)
dante complaining his weight makes him unattractive. on the light side, randal reassuring him (in a "no homo" way, if they aren't together yet) that he is attractive and he loves him at any size. on the dark side, randal continuing to fatten dante up as a possessiveness thing because he understands most people aren't into fat guys and he doesn't want anyone else to date him. on the light side, again, randal telling dante that he shouldn't date people who would ditch him if he were fatter, because he deserves better than that
the hockey team pointing out dante's gain, perhaps before dante even notices it himself. on a related note, dante playing hockey and easily knocking someone over with his new weight, causing randal to swoon
randal lightheartedly makes fun of dante for being fat btw. such insults are often followed up with "want something to eat? i'm buying"
dante staying home, sinking into the bed, and randal comes to his house and teases him over not leaving bed, then starts bringing him food
randal calling him "big guy"
dante outgrowing his clothes and giving them to randal to wear
after dante finds out / realizes what randal's been doing, he looks in the mirror and starts seeing all the fat as a symbol of how much randal loves and cares for him
their first time having sex is a result of randal rubbing dante's belly and getting aroused by it, which leads to randal giving him a handjob and then fucking him while gripping his love handles
once they get together, randal's teasing over dante's weight becomes more clearly flirty
