I really want this AU in more of the The Boys or My Hero Academia social commentary way (before the ending just ruined all that amazing worldbuilding and narrative themes). Maybe MIRA functions as a sort of hero agency or hero PR office. Maybe Red is their current rising star, their "it" hero,

I like that, that maybe there is an oversaturation of heroes like in MHA, or maybe the select elite are highly-controlled by MIRA, but either way, Red and Purple are two young heroes hoping to make a name for themself, maybe they were put on a specific case that anyone would know two rookies couldn't handle, but MIRA either needed easy fodder that wouldn't jeopardize their real moneymakers, or thought this would be a simple job that could be good for publicity with little investment.

If Purple is a civilian in this bcos of their injury, I like to think of them as a journalist. Maybe they prefer to report on more IMPORTANT things than rising upstart "Crimson Boot" or whatever lame name Red made for themself. Which sucks bcos "Crimson" does the best interviews with Purple.

The people eat UP Purple's interviews with Crimson. They're snarky, vicious, and make this larger than life personality SHRINK. More than that, I just know the populace would ship them.

Esp since villains go for Purple a LOT. And Crimson always saves them.

And we learned from this video that because of a 1999 study, to this day, there's a black correction factor for the creatinin levels in black people's kidneys, meaning we're less likely to recieve a kidney transplant if needed.

So if you go to a doctor, feel you aren't getting proper treatment or they refuse the treatment you've requested, say to them the following:
