Why is it laughing at me,

I don't like how things I enjoy aren't bringing me happiness,

so, i am taking swimming classes now. A friend of mine told me i swim like a dying salamander, which is completely untrue and frankly very hurtful. but i guess my dad also said it would be "good for my constitution" or whatever, so now i am stuck in a pool for an hour friday. it is actually kind of a disaster? the instructor keeps telling me to blow bubbles under the water, which just makes me feel like a giant, idiot toddler. plus my goggles are way too tight and they leave these huge red rings around my eyes. i look like a budget superhero whose superpower is just having a really bad allergy attack.also, chlorine smells terrible. it is like breathing in pure laundry detergent.

so i was just thinking about my mom today.well, i guess i never really knew her since she died when i was a baby, and it’s usually just me and dad (and his millions of terrifying harlequin statues, which are still ruining my life, by the way). but sometimes i see stuff in movies or read books and i just wonder what it would be like if she were actually here.i bet she would have liked ghostbusters. or maybe she would have thought my pranks were funny instead of just giving me passive-aggressive baked goods like dad does.anyway, this is getting way too sappy and weird for my fourth post ever! sorry about that guys. i promise my next post will be about something way cooler, like nicolas cage.
