I always think of you before I fall asleep. The words you said, the way you looked. The silent moments we shared, and the way you got me hooked

I want you here. Your head on my chest, my arms around you. Talking about how my heart sounds. Being cheesy and telling you me heart beats for you. I want it to be silent so I can here you breathe. I want to watch you trace the skin on the back of my hand in silence thinking to my self “Damn she’s beautiful, how did I get so lucky?” Watching your hand slow down and then rest on my stomach next to your head. And as you fall asleep I want to softly run my fingers through your hair making you relax a little bit more than you already are and I’ll tell you I love you. And finally you’ll fall asleep on me and I’ll fall asleep soon after. And when you wake up I’ll wake and ask how you slept and we can sit there and cuddle and kiss and talk. And that whole time I’ll have butterflies because I’m so damn lucky.
