A Rat a Day Keeps the Depression Away

If Olympia seems familiar it is because she is based on the rats from Coraline. I had a lot of fun with curves on this one, she's a round cutie :3

And that's it. That's the whole year. I'm writing this all in advance, scheduling these posts before the year even begins. By the time this hits by dash a whole year will have passed. Isn't that just wonderously terrible and terribly wonderous...

It feels a little bit like cheating including the actual bow to make the shape but any other designs just did not look good XD and libra got the scales, so really, it's only fair.

Such a happy fella! :D All these 'm' based zodiacs were such interesting challenges, lol

I think this one has the most interesting stuff going on. I also really like the tail swoop here, so fancy.

You might have noticed by now that I base the general body shape and position of these rats on the symbol for these zodiac signs... yeah, Virgo was the hardest one to do that with, for - I hope - obvious reasons.

I think I did pretty good! Here's the second haircut rat, btw. Unless I scheduled the third one already, in which case this is the third one. Whatever XD

I think this is one of only three rats in this book that can be said to have a haircut (unless beards count, in which case it's four). So... yeah. Fun fact, lol

There is my favourite, round little guy! I mean, come on. I nailed this one. The eye, the legs, the snoot, the tail! Wonderful.

It's MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (according to the unadjusted zodiac calander, obviously.) A lot of the time when people make a "I drew all the zodiac signs as X" series, I end up not liking gemini very much. Idk, it's a curse or something. I'm pretty happy with how my version turned out :) it's not my favourite from the bunch, but still pretty good.

We're finally done with "spoilery" zodiac scans XD probably literally no one cares except me. Whatever, I can ramble down here about whatever I want, probably nobody reads these.

For the record, I don't believe in astrology. My little "horoscopes" are just as vauge and random as any of them, lol

Making it unclear whose leg that is is a lot easier in black and white XD But I'm pretty happy with how creative I was able to get with the colors. The tails could also both be either ones ;)

I'm realizing that I'm again technically giving spoilers because in the book they are in zodiac order or whatever and I instead started with the new year. Whatever, it won't be a problem after this one, lol. And again, these are already all on insta, so really, I'm just being ridiculous.

And no, I'm not going to turn any of these png versions black. Suffer.

Millie is predominantly inspired by Welcome To Nightvale's Khoshekh and has nothing to do with the Helluva Boss Millie. I drew these originals ages ago, if I even knew Helluva Boss back then it wasn't something I was thinking about when picking this name... I think.
