Nonlitus Link

(Made with aplatonic people in mind, but can be used by anyone!)

When you do not feel feelings for this person in any way, but you still consider yourself very close. You do not love them at all but you enjoy their company and would seek them out. When you have no want for social interaction but need it because you are a social creature.

Can include features from any kind of relationship, just no attraction involved. May have sex, may kiss, may not do any of these things.

Difference between a link and a friend or partner?:

There is no attraction at all. You simply like them. They simply make life easier for you and you both benefit from each other socially. You may not even care about the other person.

You can have multiple links without being considered poly.

Fun fact: it's a mixture of willo and opus, the Latin word for need/task! The yellow represents the task, the red represents not wanting to do it! This flag actually has a little bit of meaning :D

The non-willo version of this flag would still be the same, but you can replace the term with Opuser!

Shepherd

A protector-like role. A shepherd will herd alters to wherever they need to be during times of crisis. They are a sort of organizer. They protect their "sheep", other alters, by protecting them as a group. They may comfort their "sheep", but their ultimate goal is to make sure they're safe and away while they deal with the crisis at hand.

Typically handles big or collective problems. They leave minor problems to solve themselves unless they could become a big problem.

May also be a collective caretaker.

Echomate

An Echomate is a headmate that is an "echo" of another headmate. When the assumed headmate leaves, stops fronting, or goes dormant, an Echomate will be like an echo of them. They act similarly, have similar memories, but are just a little off, like an echo.
