Hiii u can call me Echo 🐾🐱🐯
Adult, she/they/it/kitty pronouns please
Felidae cladotherian but I feel especially close to some cats, in no particular order:
Domestic cat
Tiger
Mountain Lion
Leopard (all kinds)
Cheetah
Black-Footed Cat
I like science and my day job is marine biologist, don't ask me anything too complicated about fish tho bc I mostly know about invertebrates 🦀🦑🐌🪱🦐🦪🦞🪼🪸🐙🐚 big fan of worms especially 🪱🪱🪱🪱
I tend to talk sorta different when I'm feelin especially kitty, sometimes third person, sorry if it sounds weird to go back n forth in tone
I'm new to this whole thing and the vocabulary and customs of the community are kinda unknown to me, so please be patient if I say something rude accidentally, I don't really know how to talk about this stuff with others yet
I fully respect theories of therianthropy based in spiritual or metaphysical beliefs, and will honor the wishes of those that do, but I personally don't really uh, believe it all myself. I'm a little too biology-brained to really accept that kind of thing. And yet, here I am, a cat anyway. Somehow. It doesn't feel like it should be possible, I know enough about taxonomy and genetics that I can understand the facts, but uh. Apparently I'm a cat anyway. 🐱 I've sorta given up trying to understand it at this point, so I'm just accepting this weird incongruous part of myself.
Anyway I'm shy and easily embarrassed about this stuff but I wanted a place to talk about it more openly so here we are! 😸
