Dark academia is about knowledge and a thirst for knowledge. Wanting to learn and learn and consume every bit of information you can. It’s not about the aesthetic of it all. You don’t have to dress or act in what would be seen as typical dark academia ways. You just need to have the deep passion for learning and seeking. It’s about being so enamored in a subject you lose yourself in it. It’s about wanting to find more answers to this life than what’s given. That’s dark academia.
