Spoilers abound, so read with caution.

So we see Jax alone in his room, seemingly in the process of abstracting right? But while hes in that... trippy looking area, he seems content. Almost happy. And we know for a fact now that Caine, and by extension the entire computer system, is capable of messing with their minds. Theory, what if abstraction happens as a result when the system tries to force one of the characters to calm down from mental distress? The system intrudes in their minds and causes their digital bodies to distort while their minds are locked in a kind of trippy limbo state.

Maybe I was imagining Leo's aggressive twerking a little too aggressively...
