It's kinda sad how much more at peace I've been with my mom gone. I still miss her, it sucks that she's an entire ocean away, and I'm still worried for her.

But I can't ignore the fact that I haven't been scared in my own house since she left. I haven't cried myself to sleep in a while.. I've just been. Happier.
