Her lips pursed, almond eyes narrowing at his defiance. Though infuriating that Nathaniel didn't faun over her like the rest, Lexi secretly reveled in his teasing ways. She liked that she actually had to put in effort with him. Just like she enjoyed his touch, though far more than she cared to admit. Her gaze lowered to his hand, the cause of unwelcome butterflies in her stomach. "Just you wait, before you've even realised you'll have fallen for me~" If she were being honest, she couldn't think of anything worse than entertaining her surrounding admirers. It was Nathaniel's attention she wanted. "Whilst I'm sure you'd find it entertaining, I do believe I set my time aside for you today and you alone. Though currently I'm starting to wonder why.." she trailed off, reaching for her drink again to distract from her disappointment of his willingness to let her go.

Dongwook couldn't help the soft smile that formed on his face when he saw that glisten in her eyes. Not only that, it pulled at his heart, making him step closer and wrap Nari in a gentle hug. He hated goodbyes, he was awful with them. That's why he tried to sugar-coat it. Make the slightest promises even he didn't know he could keep. At least he would try. "Even though I hate it... I can't change it," he mumbled the obvious, trying to sweeten his bitter words with a kiss to the top of her head. "But I want you to be happy... no matter what you decide to do."

As soon as he pulled her close it broke what little hold she had of her emotions. With a wobble of her lower lip, Nari lowered her head to his chest, slender fingers gripping at his shirt as the tears finally fell. "You make me happy, nothing will change that." She wanted it known that her feelings wouldn't waver in his absence, though secretly she was terrified that he would forget her whilst away. As much as she liked to promote self confidence with her students, Nari often lacked in the department herself. Attempting to pull herself together, she dabbed her tears away and with a soft smile, she peered up at him, gently holding his face in her hands. "Let me get a good look at your handsome face so I don't forget it," she chuckled softly, hazel eyes flitting over his features.
