he'd only stepped out for a moment to breathe. one moment too long. someone talking to quinn was one thing, but buying them a drink and standing this close was another. santi's blood began to boil within seconds.

"i think it's time to leave," he said, stern, tightly winding an arm around quinn's middle. "it's getting late."

At least they had Santi by their side, who seemed to have been… tense. Quieter than usual, and any moment Quinn felt they had the time to ask what was wrong, someone would end up snatching them away. Conveniently so, especially when Santi was nowhere to be seen. The next thing they knew, Quinn was being handed a drink she hadn’t even asked for, along with company that had had far too many drinks to keep a conversation going. Quinn felt a flicker of disgust, and it showed plainly on his face.

"That’s… nice." She still tried to keep up a polite expression, with no intention whatsoever of even touching the gifted drink. Then, all of a sudden, Quinn felt a hand wrap around her, her head turning, slightly startled, only to feel a cold rush at the sight of the expression on Santi’s face. Maybe even a little bit aroused, but that could be pondered over later. "Already?" clueless even then, Quinn pressed a hand to the others chest, giving it a few gentle pats. Maybe he wasn't feeling well...
