You have no idea how long this took me to FIGURE OUT because There is no simple tutorial I could find in which you don't download add-ons or add one million constraints. This is quick, easy, and DIRTY at its core

No lattice is used here, the eyeballs are controlled using stretchy BBones. Lattice KICKED MY ASS AND KILLED EYE RIG NUMBER TWO. This vid is rig number 3 btw

If you have seen rig number 1 tho, yeah I admit it's squashy and stretchy but it was REALLY hard to animate cuz the bone positions are really bad and they self destruct on themselves when you move them too far apart. Rig 3 is a different beast cuz it doesnt kill itself when you move, rotate or size the bones too far. The eyelids does not shit themselves when you move the eyeballs somewhere else, ITS FLEXIBLE FLEXIBLE. Not perfect ofc but it's good enough to get you that video

Rig 3 lets you move eyelids in two ways, the classic one where you rotate the eyelids and the more cartoony one where you get to move them up and down and they kinda move with this sort of 2d effect
