Remember when we held on tightly like we'd never see each other again. We wouldn't let go of love, even if it hurt us a little. Those days when I struggled to hold on were hard. Reaching out to you and finding nothing, floating endlessly in my own darkness. Then I remembered that time is infinite, And all things happen over and over infinitely somewhere. So somewhere out there I was still holding you tightly like I'd never see you again. Then I was okay.

My fingers ache from lifting, From mopping and scrubbing, I long for my bed, long to rest my head, I am tired.
