Highly recommend the Three Good Things practice.

Each day write down three good things that happened -- and why they happened.

"I got to enjoy a nice drink from the coffee shop because I worked hard for the money and took the time to do something nice for myself"

"I had a great nap because I worked through my negative feelings around rest so I could enjoy it."

"My friend came to see me today because they're a kind person who cares about me deeply"

It takes like five minutes and has been clinically validated to improve mood within a few weeks. When you know you're going to write down good things, you start scanning for them during the day. It literally trains your brain to look for the good - which to be clear doesn't downplay the bad, but it does help combat black/white thinking.
