The ink stained the paper, as the pen moved across deliberately. The man by the name of Fukuzawa Yukichi has been working hard as usual. Very focused, very attentive. So much so that he forgot himself and everything else.
However, his ears picked up the sound of a familiar feminine voice from far, outside of his door, "you go check on Kunikida-san, Haruno-san."
The door was gently pushed open, revealing a woman. The first thing you would notice of her is her stylish pink bob, with a white headband keeping her bangs in place. Then her casual, polite but significantly cheerful smile. And ofcourse, her wearing the agency's secretary uniform with a pink bow tied on her chest.
Fukuzawa said, "You don't have to knock on my door, you can just open it."
"I'm only afraid of disturbing you, president." Her heels tapped as she approached his desk.
"I still respect your privacy, nonetheless.." she murmured, as she placed down the cup of hot green tea then the plate of dessert. Which was a surprise for fukuzawa.
"I don't remember asking for this." He said, lifting his head to look up at her standing Infront of his desk.
She responded with a smile. "You don't have to ask."
He looked down at the plate and the cup for a brief moment, "is there something on your mind?"
"No, ofcourse not. If I wanted something, I would've reached out and asked you without favors. You know me." She placed a hand over her chest.
Fukuzawa let out a hum, taking a moment to breath. He should trust her, like how he trusts everyone else in the agency.
He picked up his cup and take a sip, the liquid was warm, not hot.. it didn't burn his tongue this time. "Thank you." Looking at the dessert, and the tea, considerably not too hot, made the corner of his lips stretch into a smile. "You always go an extra mile for me."
