❛  YET  ,  you’re  all  the  better  for  it  .  so  i   believe  some  sort  of  thanks  are  in  order  ?  ❜  the  young  girl  mused  ,  decidedly  ignoring  the  heightened  chill  that  rolled  down  the  length  of  her  spine  as  the  handsome  wizards  fingers  grazed  her  cheek  gently  .  it  was  quite  startling  (  and  admittedly  ,  annoying  )  how  instantly  her  body  reacted  to  whatever  passing  praise  he  awarded  her  ,  even  in  jest  ,  as  evidenced  by  the  clear  blush  that  colored  the  highest   arches  of  her  striking  visage  .   

 ❛  i  yearn  for  the  day  you  finally  admit  to  yourself  that  i  am  undoubtedly  ALWAYS  right  and  you  should  heed  my  wellmannered   suggestions  .  i  merely  think  you  deserve  a  break  ,  merlin  knows  i’m  in  dire  need  of  such  a  repreive  .  we  are  due  a  far  more  extensive  solace  than  a   meager  outting  to  a  pub  .   ❜  she  rattled  about  ,  hoping  to  draw  his  attention  away  from  her  poorly  concealed  nerves  ,  her  thumbs  twiddling  around  her  ornate  skirt  mindlessly  .  emma  had  not  been  around  a  bar  in  quite  some  time  and  she  abhorred  the  longing  she  felt  for  the  familiar  liquid  scorching  down  her  throat  ,  so  it  wasn’t  unheard  of  for  the  girl  to  try  and  convince  on  of  her  only  genuine  friends  to  pull  her  away  from  a  life  of  debauchery  .

There was absolutely nothing more tedious in Malachi’s mind, than hanging around in London, he had to keep himself to himself, and all he would ever hear in the background was the back and forth of brain dead, mindless chit chat of wizards, and their height of excitement, which was a new item on the leaky cauldron menu .  Unfortunately for him, it had been made abundantly clear by the dark lord that it was imperative to have as many undercover death eaters working either inside Ministry walls, or outside in the streets,  for as long as possible.  

Slumping against a wall of Diagon alley, he pulled a silver cigarette case from his inner jacket pocket.  Eyes scanning the crowds, hoping for something, anything interesting to happen.  Was it not about time something shook them all up? Ahh, wishful thinking.

though  there  were  very  few  coping  mechanisims  emma  was  comfortable  leaning  into   nowadays  ,  SHOPPING  had  always  been  a  reliable  source  of  serotonin  that  was  absolutely  necessary  after  a  brutal  visit  with  her  mother   .  merlin  forbid  the  young  witch  go  a  day  without  the  constant  badgering  of  the  matriarch  regarding  her  marital  status  and  the  ring  that  NEEDED  to  magically  appear  on  her  finger  !  escaping  her  thoughts  was  hardly  as  easy  as  disapparating  into  the  bustling  boutiques  ,  which  would  explain  why  she  was  so  blatantly  unaware  of  the  stranger  slumped  against  the  alley  wall  ,  who  she  promptly  unwittingly  assaulted  with  the  bulk  of  her  very  full  shopping  bags  .   ❛  OH  ,  apologies  !   ❜  the  blonde  mumbled  out  ,  squatting  down  to  gather  the  litter  of  cigarettes  that  fell  to  the  floor  around  her
