Dysentery Luke

I've hated my body since I can remember. I know that's not uncommon nowadays - what may be a little more uncommon is a male, admitting he hates his body. Through my 26, nearly 27 years, of life I have one picture of me without something (be it t-shirt, coat, random thing in the way) covering my body.

Recently I have been working super hard to change this. I became vegan (don't worry this isn't a pro-vegan propaganda post) which reduced my fat intake dramatically but I was then thin and looked like a boy, kind of the opposite of what I wanted.

So I started to eat more calories and hit the gym with a mate and it has done wonders, not just for my physical health, but my mental health also. I am no longer completely repulsed by my own body and today took a shirtless photo for the first time in 10/11 years. Maybe I'll post it one day but that is the next hurdle I have to overcome.
