Queer Cat Man

So over the weekend I was feeling meh after the St. Patrick's Day Parade that I was in and it popped up on my YT page so I thought 'what the heck, this has been talked up in both the queer and the horror community.' Was it good? It was fucking AMAZING! Will I ever watch it again? Almost certainly not. It made me reflect on my transition journey. I was 33 before I realized who I was, likely because trauma when you are young causes you to not fully develop your personality and I had a some. Then again in the 80s and 90s people didn't talk about transgender folks. At least not where I grew up. Now in my 40s, the VA stopped filling my testosterone and depression has set in. The movie broke me. I cried for the last 15 minutes and then for another 30 minutes later. If you are trans, whether you are out and proud, or quietly keeping yourself safe, it is a really good horror film.
