The first three panels show Kakashi waking up, at first confused, but confusion gives way to exhaustion as he realizes where and how he is. His face is covered by a white hand-towel, rather than his usual mask.

He inhales deeply but tremulously, and we see that his chest is bandaged, and that he's lying in the white sheets of a medical-facility bed.

Something catches his attention, and his single open eye focuses to his left, and then upward as he sniffs.

The view pulls back and we're shown the small, mostly-underground room that Kakashi is resting in. It's dark, with dim light coming from two overhead florescent, and two tiny cellar-style windows. The room is bare, with cracked plaster and old wood paneling, and there's a blank white-board in one corner. "Come out, I can smell you, Tenzō," Kakashi says in wavering speech balloons.
