It must be ironic—laughable even—to see the Ghost King being like a lost ghost himself. Wandering. Yearning.
Yearning for something he lost. Someone he killed.
I want to die by your hands… I promise I’ll continue to live until you’re ready…
Aquamarine eyes the color of the ocean he’s standing on. A smile as intense as the sunbeam that caresses his cheek—
Nico can almost feel him, see him, standing there, arms outstretched, beckoning him to come closer.
Except Percy never did that.
He left Nico alone, assumed that Nico would want to stay a hero while Percy was out there playing villain. And perhaps Nico did want to be a hero; be Percy’s hero, for once. Take away the burden of loss and grief.

Sooo let's talk about Austyn, like it's been a while since the last time I drew him. And I just came back to draw yesterday and I was thinking about him a lot??? Basically that I always had mixed feelings about his character, Austyn doesn't have a fixed personality from the start. He just can be whatever he wants or the world around him teaches him to build him up. Cause he’s not a human, he is just a piece of meat try to become human. He’s not understand all of this stuff, just imitating the way things happen and acting like that. His personality is very broad and difficult to define.
If Percy doesn’t found him and teach him to understand, Austyn can be really worse. Without Percy's guidance, his personality would be incredibly grumpy; Austyn wouldn't say a nice word, wouldn't even care about anyone, hate everything around him and himself too (that is if he can survived).
But thanks to Percy, Austyn was able to live until today. He tried to understand people, even if only a little, to be less selfish and quietly observe each stranger to learn instead of remaining completely clueless, not hate himself, just always doubt it. Although he remained surprisingly taciturn and blunt...

Just realized that I really like to draw Austyn with sheep cause I really rmb that I had talked about him and the sheep like, "Black sheep" - A member of a family or group who is regarded as a disgrace to it. Austyn usually thinks that he is a black sheep and the other demigods is a white sheep (The feeling lonely, different). And sheep usually are the animal to scapegoat. Austyn is the only thing Chaos lets him escape to the earth for all the fun they want to see.
Damn, I want to talk more about the feeling Austyn has when he is in camp half blood, he is lonely in his way??? Like Austyn feel lost and lonely but he somehow like the way it became. Probably because he has Percy in touch whenever he's free. Austyn is the type who automatically separates himself from the crowd or blends in, but he's still there to know what's going on and he knows a lot, really a lot, just to spill it to he father, Percy.
Or maybe he'll be adopted by Nico and Will's eldest son without knowing he's Percy's son, since Austyn rarely arrives when the child is home (They really rarely comes to Nico and Will home…). Imagine that it can be really fun that Austyn knows who son is but the other doesn’t know him.
