The very beginning of Nico & Cleon.
There was no love at first sight, no sense of destiny, and not even a particularly dramatic reason for Cleon to approach him.
Percy and Annabeth were the older, more experienced kids.

So, in Cleon’s eleven-year-old mind, the logic was simply:
