Hi! You are making perfect sense! Kissing can fall into many categories. I put it in sensual usually and definitely have had feelings for people where I only wanted to kiss and cuddle and not do anything explicitly sexual. Other aces might feel like cuddling is sensual but kissing is closer to sexual. And kissing can be romantic too. It really depends on the context and how you feel about it. But if you want to kiss/cuddle someone and not have sex, that is perfectly fine! And to the second part of your question, yes aces can masturbate. You can have a libido and still be on the ace spectrum. Sexual attraction is wanting to do sexual things with a specific other person. So if you experience wanting to kiss someone and wanting to masturbate, but not wanting to have sex with someone, you can definitely still be ace. And the ace spectrum is even wider, really. I identify as Graysexual bc I've only experienced sexual attraction twice ever but I do experience sensual attraction including wanting to kiss people. I'm so glad this blog can help people feel accepted! But I do want to clarify that action doesnt equal attraction. Liking kissing or masturbating or even sex on a physical level doesn't mean you can't be asexual, or that you must be demi/grace/etc instead. Aces can still have a libido or choose to do things to please their partners. The only thing that aces can't do is experience sexual attraction, which is the desire to do sexual activities with a specific person.
