“It is to me” He said smiling. “Like what exactly? Because I’ve managed this far to stay under the radar detention wise”  He said laughing.  “I mean i did once, for a dare fly my broom through the staircase on the sixth floor, but what kind of thing do you mean?”

“Let me help. It’ll make it go away quicker and I’ll feel better.”

“No, i’m honestly fine but if you wanna help yoiu can distract anyone else from walking in this mess..” 

“Not exactly sure how that goes but suppose i’ll give it a shot.”

“Hey, you forgot this”

“Are you alright there? Sure you don’t need help?”

“I’m pretty positive thanks.. But thanks for the offer.”

           “ —Wait, really? You — you’d do that for me?” His response, though sincere in gratitude, was interrupted by a poorly timed hiccup and he couldn’t help but laugh, amused by how totally ridiculous he was sure he looked. “Thank you so much — wow, you’re, like, you’re honestly the nicest. Like Spi  — spiderman or somethin’, only blonde. And n — not a man. But still a totally rad hero.” With that, Topher began his drunken descent down the staircase, making sure to steady himself on the railing as he went. “I di-id,” he said with a nod as she spoke. “You’d be surprised how many Hufflepuffs know how  — how to party.”

Daisy was generally worried that he would hurt himself on the stairs. “Yes, I would as she listened to him speak as she followed him down the staircase as she couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m a blonde and i’m not what you call a superhero but I don’t think i’d be anything super hero and I know how Hufflepuffs party.. My best friend is a hufflepuff.” She explained. 

“That’s quite alright”  Arthur said, as he took her hand to help him up. “What do you recon they spilt?  There’s more than just a smidge of whatever it is on the floor here.”

“I have no clue but it’s really slippery.” Daisy explained as she looked at the floor with a huff of air passing her lips.

          As soon as she confirmed what he’d read, Topher reached forward and began to stir the potion counter-clockwise, peering over the edge of the cauldron to see if he could notice any change in color. “I think — oh, yes, I think we did it,” the eager Hufflepuff said with a grin as the liquid began to shift in hue to… that was pink, wasn’t it? Or — oh no. “Nope, we, uh’, we totally did something wrong,” he said quickly as the potion turned a vivid red and began bubbling rapidly up the walls of the cauldron. “It shouldn’t — I don’t think it should be doing that. What’s — is that smoke?” 

Daisy had went back to observing as she saw the potion start to change as she couldn’t help but smile before it had turned into a frown. “Oh dear Merlin.” Daisy said quickly with a panic in her voice. “What do we do? What do we do Topher?” Daisy said quickly
