Hey everyone! I’m Lynne - Or Cass - Or DW - or literally anything as I’ve heard a few things on this page in it’s lifetime. I write fanfiction and original works - and a LOT of smut - and I also use all of this to work through my crippling depression :D So yay!! I’m working on adding trigger warnings to things, and everything is getting longer and more detailed the more I write so...I hope you guys enjoy your stay! You know. it look me a really long time to re-open the invasion. I moved across the country. I changed a lot. I think I needed that change to actually be able to sit and really think about how Info changed too. Im really sorry about the super long hiatus, but I wont lie - I think it was needed. I dont think I could've finished this story before now. I dont think I could've properly textualized how Info grew as a person into someone both recognizable as Info and so vastly different from the nameless person who left Cairo until now.

im trying my hand at a clinically depressed vampire (what else is new) that at one point had such a traumatic event that he developed did and decided to write uh meeting this other self

I wanted it to be spooky

We sat there, shoulder to shoulder, legs half tucked in and half sprawled against each other, watching the horizon. It'd gotten darker in the last half hour, and the furthest bits that peeked between the skyline were starting to turn purple.

He shifted next to me, his cold fingers tightening over mine. "What if it doesn't work?" he whispered.

"You researched it," I whispered back, "You did the work. You wanted to know."

He hesitated again, half sitting away from me. He didn't look at me. His thumb curled under my palm and he squeezed my knuckles. The purple fingers of morning had stretched further up the buildings blocking the view when he finally sat back.

"I don't remember my last sunrise," he spoke, voice calm, level, the anxiety melting into the sweat of his palm instead, "Maybe the morning I found my wife dead? I'm not sure."

I set my head on his shoulder. "I'll stay as long as you want," I said after a pause.

"Thanks," he sighed. He squeezed my hand tighter. "Maybe next time we can watch from up north. Better view." He was hopeful.

I squeezed back.

"We can go tomorrow," I replied.

i might write some vampire stuff again. new face. same silly indulgent nonsense.

i did get a few scene ideas for the invasion. take me back to eden had a really good scene inspiration. so did inkpot gods. so. we'll see how my brain goes.

im also fully in Im Going to Stray Kids in two weeks mode so my brains also occupied by that.

theres also the therapy for the explosion at work a few months ago. so.

probably also need it for my growing depression and to help deal with the very recent death of my grandmother

Hi there!! Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the story! As for your question, the reader for The Invasion is simply you. I try my best to make the MC as ambiguous as possible in regards to appearance and pronouns so that it's easier for yall as the readers to be immersed in the story :)
