elliott and grimmley used to be friends before grimmley disappeared along with eridan. missing peoples reports were filed for them but neither of them ever turned up. it's hard to say they were the same people they were before elliott found them again.

the general concept is elliott (you) ends up finding themselves a forest in where nothing ever is right. eridan is the first and seemingly the only person you meet and you find that you both have one common goal, which is to get the hell out of there, a concept much easier said than done when faced with the weird hell that lies inside and whatever disease is trying to keep you inside. and ofc, grimmley just wants to give you a hug of course and be friends :)
