shoutout to the CCOD finale for perfectly capturing the feeling of being a kid and playing a game that you sort of know? but really you just want to play pretend with your friends and do bits after school

Also love that whenever someone does a Nixon impression now it's always just Billy West's version of Nixon he does on Futurama, which stems from West as a kid watching a Nixon debate and thinking he always looked like he was seconds away from turning into a werewolf

but honestly I think once again the biggest detriment to D20 is the production schedule. being restrained by X amount of shooting days imo just leads to every season having a finale that feels rushed and unsatisfactory. not saying everything has to be a Critical Role style 100 episode series but I'd like for things to flow a little more naturally

Night Shift was another clear example of the Taskmasterification of Game Changer (a good thing btw, I really enjoy the more Taskmastery episodes). A task where they had to sort socks! Having to work together with a teammate without a clear way of communicating! Threatening violence against Sam who, let's face it, is a Taskmaster's Assistant on this show even without the presence of a Taskmaster! I guess on Taskmaster the oreo task would have been one of those where they have to pick 1 sense they can use before reading the task.

#here in Ghent the big football stadium was named Ghelamco arena after the developing firm who built it #and everyone hated the name because it is just corporate promo or whatever #then after 10 years the contract they had for the name ended and they didn't want to pay anymore #and now its the Planet Group Arena which is even worse of a name #so everyone is still just calling it the Ghelamco Arena
